Under the expert guidance of Vicky Hart, Lesley Ketley and the Swim Team - total beginners, improvers and novice swimmers will quickly gain confidence and respect for the water and the controlled and friendly atmosphere will lead to a positive, correct and safe swimming technique!

The Pool water temperatures at Ramada, Ridgeway and Barfield venues are set higher than temperatures found in Council owned community pools - this is most beneficial, especially with the youngest children. Barfield's nursery accepts children from three years of age so their pool is kept very warm. Lessons at the lessons at the Ridgeway School are in the Hydrotherapy pool which is also warmer than most pools. We ensure that the pool sizes and environments, selected for our lessons, do not cause any intimidation to our beginners and novices and the class numbers are limited to ensure each child is carefully & safely monitored.

At the Ramada "Hogs Back Hotel", the lessons are for pre-school age children with both Vicky and Lesley in the pool with a maximum of six learners. The children learn water confidence and skills through fun and play and they are gradually introduced to structured swimming lessons.

All of our pupils are given tuition that will lead to a Nationally recognised swimming award -  these awards are progressive and consequently provide new targets and a higher challenges. We start with the Ducklings and then the Amateur Swimming Association awards - level one through to twelve.
